WE NEED YOU

Please join us in our Sunday Prayer for the week. We request your support in adopting prayer points for people mentioned, in your own prayers this week and become vessels of your healing. 

O Divine Creator, In this moment of stillness, we lift our hearts to You, Carrying the weight of a world in pain, And the hope of a world reborn. Heal the wounds of war and division, where hatred has taken root, sow seeds of compassion. Where fear reigns, let courage rise. Where injustice persists, bring truth and restoration.

Touch the Earth with Your gentle hand: Revive the forests, cleanse the oceans, Calm the storms, and renew the soil. Let all creation breathe freely again.

Comfort those who suffer— From illness, hunger, displacement, and despair. Let Your presence be a balm to the broken, And Your light a guide to those lost in darkness.

Grant them strength for each day: Strength to endure treatments, Strength to face uncertainty, Strength to hold onto hope.

Lord we pray very specially for Samira as she copes with aftereffects of her treatment. Thank you Lord that you have given her the physical, spiritual and mental strength to go through this. Lord, we pray you be with her in times of weakness and carry her through everything. Be with her in every upcoming decision blessing her with your wisdom. Be with her on the 6th of October as she goes in for her second last chemo. 

We also pray for Lindsey as she supports her mother through her treatment. We also pray for Joan and Jen for your presence to be felt by them in their time of challenge. May Lindsey, Jen, and Joan feel Your presence in every breath, every heartbeat, every quiet moment. Let Your love be the anchor that holds them steady, and Your promise be the light that guides them forward.

Bless the hands of their doctors and caregivers of Samira, Lindsey's mother, Joan and Jen, with wisdom and compassion. Let every moment of care be a step toward healing. Ease their pain, calm their fears, and remind them they are never alone.

For their families and friends, we ask for grace: Grace to support without growing weary, Grace to love without limits, Grace to believe in miracles. 

Lord we ask for your grace on our senior citizens - a lady in Delhi suffering with a back problem, for the widow in America who needs a job to pay her rent. For Mike's dad who has a heart problem and his mother who has a kidney problem. We pray for Paladin, for Charles' ministry and challenges it is facing; for Annie who is struggling with insomnia. We pray very specially for pray for Stephanie who recently discovered a mass and is being referred to an oncologist. Please also pray for Alina going through cancer treatments.

Unite us across borders and beliefs, To care for one another as kin, To speak peace into chaos, And to build a future rooted in love.

May we be vessels of Your healing, Hands that serve, hearts that forgive, Voices that uplift, and spirits that endure.

Gracious and loving God,

We come before you today with heavy hearts, lifting up Lindsey, Jen, and Joan. In this time of suffering, we ask that you pour out your healing grace upon them and their families.

For Lindsey, we pray for strength and courage. Be her rock in the midst of this storm. Ease her anxieties and fill her with a deep sense of peace that can only come from you. Help her to be a source of comfort and light for her mother, and remind her that she is not alone on this journey.

For Jen, we pray for healing of body and mind. We ask that you would touch her with your divine power, restoring her to wholeness. Ease her pain and fill her with hope. Guide her doctors and all those who care for her, giving them wisdom and skill in their treatment.

For Joan, we ask for your comforting presence. In the midst of her own struggles, give her strength and resilience. Heal her spirit and surround her with your love. We pray for a renewed sense of purpose and a fresh hope for the future.

At this time we pray for Samira. Lord let her know you, feel your Holy Spirit and know that you are there, right besides her. She needs you. 

We pray for Liz - for her to overcome her weakness and live for you, and that her comfort comes from you and your word, not from diversions the world offers. 

For the family of JHB who passed into your loving arms last night. Comfort them Father. 

We thank you for the new assignment Pastor Rajiv has taken on and pray for his success - as he works for you as well as his professional job. Bless him Father as he is your loyal servant.  

We pray for all the elders - specially as the winters come on in Delhi, for them to be protected from the cold, the pollution and other hardships. For the senior lady who had back pains and problems - Lord giver her your comfort and ease her pain. Let her remain active in your grace as she has been till now. 

Once again we pray for all those who need your healing Lord. We trust in your mercy, Lord, and we surrender their pain into your hands. May they all feel your presence and your love, and may their faith be strengthened through this trial.

We ask all our readers to join us in this prayer for the people named here as well all those who they may know of. For countries where people maybe suffering from natural disasters and other catastrophic events. 

We ask your grace, peace and blessing on all for the coming week.

Heavenly Father, You are the Great Physician, the healer of our souls and bodies. We come before You with a heart full of hope, asking for Your healing touch. Restore what is broken, renew what is weary, and bring peace where there is pain. Let Your grace flow through every part of me, And may Your presence be my strength and refuge. 

We pray very specially for Samira, Jen and Lindsey - For Samira Please continue to keep the chemo side effects within manageable limits and we pray that her planned surgery maybe minimally invasive. We pray for the right decisions to be taken and the right doctors to treat her. 

We pray for Jen, as she starts the healing journey in her cancer treatment. Please give her physical and spiritual strength, mental and bodily resilience. We pray for her peace that you can give her, knowing she is in your care. 

We pray for Lindseys' mother as she also goes through the cancer journey - let her feel your presence and strength and peace. We pray for Lindey herself, to know you are there right with her. 

We also pray for MA that her tests do not show her illness is cancer. 

We pray for Bob's back as well as the others who suffer the pain including our dear lady in Delhi - give them both the peace and confidence of knowing you are with them. 

We pray for Paladin That God would heal him of diabetes and the damaged muscle in his heart as well as the blood clots and shortness of breath. 

We also pray for - healing for Emily, Steven (heart problems),

Today we kneel down in prayer and thank Him for all the goodness we have experienced in the past week. With hearts full of gratitude, we pause to thank You—for breath, for grace, for every unseen mercy. You have been our refuge in storms, our joy in seasons of abundance, and our strength in times of waiting. Thank You for the gift of community, for purpose, and for the promise that You are always working for our good. May our lives reflect Your generosity, and may our words and actions honor the blessings we've received.

Today Jan thanks you for answered prayers - for making a way to pay her mortgage payments as she had requested. 

We also thank you for Samiras life and healing from her breast cancer. As she goes through this tough, painful and oftentimes frustrating time and process of healing, we ask that you fill her with your patience and strength. We thank you for the progress she has made - and we know that you will guide her to the best doctors and the best treatment for her. 

We thank you for the healing of Prarthana and pray for her continued recovery. 

We bring Tanu to you for her request for resources to build her home. We also bring Lily for healing of her skin problem, as investigations are done to find out more. DM praises for his  granddaughter and thanks many folks that lifted her up in prayer as she needed to have a badly broken bone set. She is doing well. 

We continue to pray for Coral as she recovers form a bad viral, for the senior lady in Delhi for her back pain. Please let her feel your presence, love and strength. 

We pray for the war in Ukraine, the famine in Gaza, the Sudan conflict and the surge in state executions in Iran. We pray for your peace to prevail and your wisdom to guide the leaders. 

We ask that all our readers support each one mentioned here in prayer, for God's divine intervention in their lives and strength to face their problem.

Gracious God, You are our refuge and strength, Our ever-present help in times of need. We come before You with hearts open, Seeking Your healing touch and Your faithful provision.

Heal us, Lord—body, mind, and spirit. Where there is pain, bring comfort. Where there is brokenness, bring restoration. Where there is fear, bring peace.

You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. We trust You to meet every need—seen and unseen. Open doors where there seem to be none. Pour out Your blessings in ways we cannot imagine.

Thank You for Your love that never fails, For Your promises that stand firm, And for Your presence that goes before us.

We rest in Your goodness, We rejoice in Your grace, And we wait with hope, knowing You are faithful.

We also pray for your continued hand of healing on Coral and Meghan. We pray for your strength and support on Samira as she goes for her 3rd Chemo and also as she waits for the results of her gene test. We pray that this test returns as negative. 

We pray for our seniors in India, specially for our church lady who suffers from back pain and for your strength and spirit to renew her daily. We pray for pastor Rajiv and Pastor Vikram as they lead their respective churches. 

We pray for Blake for his return to his family and home. For sister Jane who needs your strength and protection. We also praise you for the faithfulness you have shown Emily, Samira, Coral and many others. We pray for K to return to You, and for the job interview of Svensons daughter. We pray for your guidance for Sanya as she is just starting a new assignment at her workplace and wisdom and blessing as she prepares for her future life. 

Please provide for the needs of Chloe and Beths son and his mental health. We pray for peace for the Aunt in Texas as well as for Melinda's children. 

Thank you Lord for hearing us today. We request all our readers to pray for these requests this week and include them in thier daily devotionals. 

Sunday Prayer of Thanksgiving, Sunday the 10th of August, 2025

Gracious and loving God, With humble hearts, we come before You in gratitude. Thank You for the breath in our lungs, the strength in our steps, And the countless blessings—seen and unseen—that fill our days.

For the gift of life, the warmth of love, The beauty of creation, and the grace of healing that sustains us— We give You thanks.

In moments of joy, You are our song. In seasons of struggle, You are our refuge. You have walked beside us, lifted us, and never let us go.

Thank You for the people who enrich our lives— Family, friends, mentors, and strangers who show us kindness. Thank You for opportunities to grow, to serve, and to dream.

May our gratitude overflow into generosity. May our hearts remain open, and our spirits attuned to Your presence. And may we never take for granted the wonder of each day.

We thank you for your grace of healing & sustenance of Samira & Coral in Australia. We thank you for your sustenance of a senior lady in India who carries the burden of her back pain.

We pray for all those who need you and ask for your intervention.

For Beth Lauren who asks for prayer for her Son to find mental health help. She prays he has the willingness and courage to heal. Please Lord they need a miracle.

Bill Pike requests prayer a prayer for Heather, that the tumor removed is benign, and that the surgeon was able to remove all of the tumor. Be with her family Lord.

Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart in need of Your touch. You are the source of all comfort and restoration. Please bring healing to my body, peace to my mind, and strength to my spirit. Where there is pain, bring relief. Where there is fear, bring courage. Where there is doubt, bring faith. I trust in Your love and mercy, knowing that You are always near. 

Today we request you to pray once again for Samira as she goes in for her second chemo tomorrow - Monday the 4th of August. We pray for the chemo drugs to continue their healing, minimizing the side effects and minimizing the surgery. We pray for her Genetic tests to show positive results as well. 

We pray for Sanya, for her continued healing and recovery from her surgery. 

For a senior lady in Delhi for her back pain, for her spirits to be cheerful and happy  and hope in you. 

We thank you for protecting Coral during her accident today - that the car protected her even though it was completely destroyed. We praise you for your hand of mercy and surrounding her with a hedge of your protection as she continues to serve you with her music in your church. 

For  R and his wife V. and her mother who is in her last stages of dementia.

Beth Sims requests prayer for the lump in her breast that it isn’t anything serious and her breast cancer has not returned.  Sue from San Diego requests prayer for her uncle Pete. Lord, we ask that You shower Your mercy on Pete and Trish as he begins his 30 sessions of radiation. We pray for a Miricle to  minimize the side effects. And increase the effectiveness so that the job is done and healing happens. 

Amarillo requests prayer for his family that they can increase their income to cover their medical needs and pay their bills.

Renewal

Heavenly Father, You are the God of renewal, the restorer of broken places, and the lifter of weary hearts. Today, I come before You—trusting not in my strength, but in Your mercy and unfailing love.

Restore what time, trials, and turmoil have worn down. Heal the wounds I’ve carried in silence. Awaken my spirit to hope again, dream again, and walk boldly in Your promises.

Where joy was lost, let Your presence rebuild it. Where peace was shattered, breathe divine stillness. Where purpose faded, call forth new beginnings.

May Your grace rebuild what the enemy tried to steal. May Your light flood every shadowed place. May Your Spirit guide me from restoration into resurrection—because You make all things new.

Someone requests prayer for his mother. She has early onset dementia and will also be having a CT scan on her throat due to thoracic issues. 

Rachael asks for prayer for her mother she has to go for a biopsy tomorrow because she has a sore on her leg that keeps coming back in the same spot. May she get healing. 

Wilkinsons from Georgia requests prayer for her husband who 

was just diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. They have given it over to God. My His healing be theirs and  peace remain. 

Someone from New Jersey requests prayer for Charlotte with type 1 diabetes, Judith with vision impairment, and Chuck with stage 4 colon cancer.

The Futility of Human Efforts. 

I flap my wings harder and harder, anxiously contemplating every obstacle that could appear on the horizon. I’m afraid that if I don’t keep flapping, I’ll crash and burn. I wonder if I will have enough wisdom, physical or spiritual stamina, or funds to handle each situation. Planning ahead is good, but not when it leads to worry. Yet God’s word assures us that those who hope in the Lord will experience what it’s like to soar on wings like eagles (see Isa. 40:31). Even when we feel like we are free-falling, we can trust that “God is [our] refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms” (Deut. 33:27, NIV). taken from the Upper Room Devotional 

Prayer 

Dear Father, help us to remember that things do not depend solely on our efforts. Thank you for your Spirit who upholds us.

Today we bring to you in prayer those who need your healing in finance, health, relationships and all areas of worry and turmoil.

First we want to thank Jesus and all those who have prayed and we'll wishers for the provisions Jesus made for Samira, Meghan and Coral in Australia. We request you to continue to pray for Samira as her format Chemo is on the 7th - that her pain may be minimal and Jesus grants her strength at this time. We also pray for Megan's and Corals continued recovery and His grace to be upon them. For Diya, Senior lady in Delhi, John and Shane, for complete healing and grace for pain. 

We pray that Diane, in Chicago does not have any visual disturbances and nothing is wrong and for her to have assurance of it.

We pray for the Bethel Church in India and its Pastor, Rev Jolly Raj, for a peaceful and prayerful conference and associated changes if any.

Pray for your Spirit to strengthen Michael Cote from LA as he tries to do your will and become a testament and witness for Christ.

A reader requests - Please pray for Blake my son that he comes home to me 7/15/2025. I’m desperate for prayers for my son. He has been brought into tragedy. Please Father Jesus hear my prayers to you to bring my son home to me forever. He is your messenger and knows what he is supposed to do. I love you Father.

Please pray that the people and children missing in the Texas flood will be found safe.
