"Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God..."
Exodus 20:9-10
Heavenly Father, Creator of the Stars and the Stillness,
As the sun sets and the noise of the world fades, we step across the threshold of the Sabbath. We leave behind the labor of our hands, the anxieties of our minds, and the endless rush of the week.
We thank You for the divine gift of this day—a sanctuary carved out of time itself.
Lord today and everyday we thank you for Samira; we thank you for her life, for her healing and the strength you provide her everyday. Be with her this week, as she undergoes her Immunotherapy - that the treatment is effective with the least possible side effects as it has been in the past.
We pray for Lisa, for her court case as she re-builds her life as a cancer survivor. That is turns in her favour and she gains what she has lost. We pray for her daughter Arielle, for her complete remission and strength. We pray for your grace on Jen and for your intervention to bring continue to down her markers. We pray for your healing and strength as she goes through the process of chemotherapy.
We pray for Joan, and her upcoming sessions- that you may grant her the strength and your grace to be able to bear it.
We also pray for Laurika and Haleen - that they may experience your strength and grace. Also for Victoria for her healing from cancer as well as her mother, Alison.
Lord we pray to you because you care and you listen and we hope in and wait on you.
We pray
For Rest: Quiet our racing thoughts. Release the tension in our bodies. Remind us that our worth is not measured by our productivity, but by Your unconditional love.
For Reflection: Open our eyes to notice the blessings we rushed past this week. May Your Holy Spirit illuminate the spaces where You were working in our lives, even when we were too busy to see it.
For Restoration: Pour Your peace into the weary corners of our souls. Heal the invisible hurts, mend the fractured relationships, and breathe new life into our spirits.
