1 PETER 1:3-12
Peter’s readers were people who were up against a variety of challenges heartaches and perils. Pretty much the same as what we believers face today, although, maybe, not as physically challenging. Yet they had hope because they were born again in Christ.
Worldly hope is mere wishful thinking and ends at the grave.
Christian hope on the other hand is based on a person ,the living, resurrected Christ because Jesus overcame death and He promises us believers that we too shall overcome the grave. So, how does our new birth give us living hope? In today's message Pastor Rajiv talks on Peters letter to exiles scattered throughout the provinces of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia, facing pretty much the same problems we face today and the hope we have.
