(Dear Readers, we bring our Sabbath prayers and requests to you for inclusion of people who need you to pray for them. We have seen the power of prayer working in the lives of a number of these people for whom you have prayed in the past and we earnestly request you all to continue).
As we enter these sacred hours, sanctify our thoughts and our conversations, may this Sabbath be a foretaste of the eternal rest promised to Your people. Let our hearts be a sanctuary where Your Spirit dwells undisturbed.
As the sun sets, we lay down our burdens and pick up His peace.
The Sabbath is not a surrender to weakness or a passive pause. It is a spiritual resetting of boundaries—a deliberate choice to lay down human effort and step into divine authority.
When you rest on the Sabbath, you declare that your destiny does not depend on your striving alone, but on the God who goes before you.
Purpose is not something you build from scratch; it is something you step into when you align with Heaven's blueprint.
Today we pray for Divine Purpose & Breakthroughs where we need them.
Heavenly Father, Almighty God,
On this set-apart day, we enter Your presence with reverence and absolute surrender. we silence every voice of doubt, fear, and human expectation, and align our spirit with Your eternal plan for our life.
Lord, awaken within us a conviction of who You have called each of us to be. Clear away the debris of distraction, burn away every assignment of the enemy meant to delay progress, and replace fatigue with Your divine fire.
We thank you for the healing you have provided Samira, Joan and Lisa's daughter who has just finished another round pf chemo. Lord, we ask you to strengthen her in mind and body. We pray for Lisa as she negotiates a tough court case on the 13th and looks at restarting her own life after cancer. We thank you for the healing of mind you have provided Jen and we pray for her readiness for another clinical trial. We also pray for Alison's daughter, for relief from her disease and peace for Lisa and Alison. At this time, we pray very specially for Nina, Pastor Rajiv's wife, as she is also scheduled for her second round of chemo and ask for your strength to be within her. Let the medicines be your instruments for her healing and strength for her body to withstand the treatment. We pray for your daughter in India who is recovering after her robotic surgery. We pray that the pestilence is contained and for her complete healing. We thank you that you gave her the blessing of an early detection. We pray for Nick in Australia, for his treatment to start, be effective and for your strength in his body.
We pray for Wendy. For her anxiety, depression and OCD. For your protection over her home. We pray for the continued sobriety of Mrs. Floyd - for your help as she works her way back to a life with you.
Grant us sharp spiritual discernment to see the doors You have opened and the boldness to walk through them without hesitation. Let no weapon formed against our purpose prosper, and let no fear hold us back from the fullness of our calling.
As I rest today, establish my steps for the week ahead let us remember-
We are not lost; our path is divinely ordered. Every step we take is guided by purpose, wisdom, and grace.
May this Sabbath ignite a bold faith within you, shatter every weight of weariness, and anchor you firmly in your divine call.
Fill each one of us with Holy Spirit boldness, unshakeable peace, and clarity of mind. We now step out of self-reliance and fully into Your sovereign strength.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
